Rananda’s Teachings - Freedom and Control

For a long time, I have thought that my freedom was in getting control over my life. Finding out the right things to do, the right friends to have, taking the right precautions, like having good insurance and money in the bank, and so on. Now, on the path of A Course In Miracles, I start to understand that this was all some kind of fake security, without real meaning.

Rananda puts it this way: “Your freedom lies in no control.” Meaning that when you turn your life over to God, His Holy Spirit will guide every aspect of your worldly experience, all actions, words, and thoughts. And that is real freedom. Because then I am not lost, but alive and happy, sustained and guided by God, without a care in the world. Hallelujah!
